Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. How long have you had your Stinger and what did it replace for you?

Hi
I've bought the car new in 2019 and it didn't really replace anything. I was looking around without any strong intent to buy a car but the more I learned about the Stinger the more interested I became. They are definitely a lot of car for the money.
It's been trouble free for the last 5 years until just recently it started misfiring on cylinder 1 so from what I've seen so far it'll probably by spark plugs.
Just reading through posts to work out the best plugs to get.

Glad to hear you've been having a great experience with the Stinger. It seems most people are using Denso or HKS spark plugs.

Changing the one bad plug will resolve the misfire for a only a few days / couple of weeks, if the coil pack is bad, and a bad coil pack will destroy a new plug.

The car is stock standard so would you recommend OEM plugs and coils or after market?

And also what plug gap would you recommend?

Ima bone stock on both of our Stingers, using OEM plugs.

Hi All

Thanks for the help.

New OEM spark plug and coil and problem solved. $300NZD for coil and $90 for spark plug. Hope that's the last one for a while!

Cheers
