My Stinger GT chose me..... lucky car.... luckier me. My son (roadside mechanic) did the sums and research on what I needed ( and he would like to inherit ) and so we went for a test drive in what would be our new baby. Had it for three months now and it can still bring tears of joy to my eyes on our valleys bendy and straight roads. Horse and rider working in beautiful unison. yes its a car you want...... and need (for pleasure) Preaching to the converted but somehow I pity the poor city worker in his/her Stinger not being able to set their thoroughbreds free on the open road after work in the traffic..... waiting till late to find an excuse to venture out. Looking forward to seeing more about its future and if it doesn't make the future then we will all have very collectable cars. Cheers

Hi Mark, firstly welcome and immpecable choice you display lol.
Secondly did you get inspiration when about 6-8 Stingers paraded through Kiama and the outskirts back in July? We had a meet and a bit of a convoy down to the blow hole.
Just checked the creditentials let me see, hairs on the back of the neck, excitement, lump in the back of the throat ah ha here we go "Tears in the eyes" yes come in you belong.

As you probably know on the 3rd March we have a drive to The Hunter valley , join in:D

G’day & congrats on your new Stinger, you live in a great part of the would, some of us Stinger Owners have also done some cruises through you neck of the woods on the way to Kiama, Berry & Camberwarra Lookout, perfect roads fo this amazing GT.
Also check out the cruise in 2 weeks to the Hunter Valley if your interested, you are most welcome.

Yep, welcome to the forum, all the Aussies are the best. Love ur car!

Thanks all. Missed the drive through, I didn't know they existed until my son alerted me to the varied suitability of the Stinger, my first sighting was a local had traded his AMG for a white GT ( with some cash back) and he loves it. (3 hidden in valley... shhh), we fell in love on the test drive. Will try and make the meet with my son . I'm new to forums etc so excuse any stuff ups. yes tears of joy says it all.

That’s ok, some of us are still newbies to social media too. Hope you can make the cruise & meet up, great excuse to drive the car, stretch it’s legs & use it for what it was designed for.

Have you replaced the rear panel on your hatch with a carbon fibre one or did you have it vinyl wrapped?

Welcome! Just noticed it as well, looks good.
