Hi Everyone! Excited to join this forum! I've been casually researching cars for over a year now and I think the Stinger is the one for me!! I'm terrible at negotiating; I cannot tell if I'm getting a fair deal or taken advantage of. I'm in Houston; I've had conversations with 3 dealers.. one would only take 1K off of MSRP, the other two would sell the GT1 for 45K out the door, but only if I finance through Kia. I've seen some dealers in other markets posting finances rebates upwards of 6K. One dealer did tell me they are selling GT2 more than the other models so I fee like I have a shot at getting a good deal. I just don't know how to find out/ negotiate it.

Welcome Ktina300! The car is still pretty new to the market and some dealers across the country are at MSRP, others below. Some are dropping a few thousand off now.

You won't likely get lower than that UNLESS you are a Costco Member? If the dealer is:
A. A Costco partisipant
B. Is playing by the rules
Then you should get $500 under invoice. If you don't know what the invoice of the Stinger is you want, then just go to autobytel.com or Edmunds.com and you'll find the invoice price.

NOTE: The Stinger, if purchasing, has a $750 rebate at the 1.9% financing rate. Thus, $500 under invoice shouldn't be a stretch for anyone. I'd use the Costco program right now if I were you. That's my $.02 worth. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Welcome aboard, @ktina300! Thank you for signing up. You've come to the right place for advice about how to negotiate a purchase! There's a lot of reading available in our "How to Buy a Stinger" forum - and I'm sure you'll have a few people chime in with ideas here very soon. What will your Stinger be replacing?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Check with your favorite financing institution as to how fast you can take that Kia financed loan to their doorstep instead. That way get the best price and get the loan you want.

Welcome!
