hop, skip and a jump? i thought i knew what traffic was coming from new york and living in l.a. for awhile, they have nothing on the state of florida. the only skipping, hopping and jumping that is done is if i get out of my car and leave it in the traffic jam. which i have already seen happen because i was behind the moron who left his car on i95.Sure, you FL guys have just a hop, skip and a jump up the I-95 - I've got some actual driving to do.

Yes, I've driven in Florida many times (as well as LA), and I feel your pain ...
Other than the usual congestion in major urban areas, we have far, far less density of both population and vehicles, so inter-city cross country travel is usually less painful.
