New to this forum and honestly this is my first time actually dealing with a car dealership as my first car was a Corolla that was at an auction. That Corolla has finally given out on me and I been looking at cars and what fits what I want and the list is very small. Test drove a Stinger 3.3 and to say I was beyond impressed. I left the dealership simply thinking about that car ever since. I plan on either going through my bank which is Navy Federal for a car loan. The question I have is if you financed in Southern California what is the best possible deal for this car if anyone on here is financing? Also, has anyone been to Citrus Kia in Ontario? They said they are a non-commission dealer. I do not know how big of a deal that is but would like a little advice and possible guidance from the stinger community. Will greatly appreciate it.

I purchased mine there, talk to Chris Taylor, tell him I sent you :). Best deal? Depends on what your looking for, GT1 or 2, RWD or AWD? Most will tell you if you can get 10% off MSRP with discounts, you're getting a good deal. They're going to add $2000 in dealer options but tell them you don't want them and ask to have them discounted. You should be able to get $700 to $1000 off. To get all the cash discounts, you'll need to finance thur KIA. Try to do most of the work via email and ask for numbers to be documented. If you want the bumper to bumper warranty, ask for it to be discounted as well. Good luck to you, it's a Great car!

I'm in a very similar situation... Looking at buying a stinger gt1 in SoCal and coming from a Kia Rio. I plan on going to the Citrus Kia as well, from what I can tell their internet prices are better than everyone else. Have you looked in to the lease buyout method?

So I did not see a Chris anywhere but I got connected with George who seemed very down to earth and not pushy. I’m looking for a white GT1 RWD but they currently do not have any in So Cal. I see right now for a GT 1 in the dark gray color they are asking for 40k but I feel like I will be able to get that price down. Apparently, there are two white stingers in So Cal. One that is currently in transit that he said he might be able to get and then Covina Kia which he said is just a horrible place to do business. But I am hoping to close a deal by Wednesday or Friday at the latest.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
We bought our 2019 GT2 at Citrus Motors in January off 2020 after seeing an ad in Autotrader. Since it was virtually the same as the newer 2020, I was happy to save about $12K off msrp and we drove off with the car for $43K including tax and registration fees. Our car had about 80 miles on the odometer and had been test driven or used by dealer staff a little, but was sold as a new car having never been sold or registered to anyone else. We have had our car for almost a full year now and we are happy with it. My wife, who did not love it much when we bought, it prefers driving it to our more recently acquired 2016 Mercedes SL400. She had an E350 for 10 years which she loved, but totalled the car and we were anxious to find a replacement. We went to Kirby in Ventura to check out the Stinger, but they did not have a new GT2 in stock at the time. We liked the Stinger so I began negotiating with Citrus in ernest through emails. I wanted to make sure I could actually buy the car at the advertised price with no phoney add ons to pad the deal. Some other dealers I spoke with on the phone, like Glendale Kia, insisted expensive theft deterrent systems were already installed on their cars and dealer fees, coatings or other BS had to be purchased to get the discounted prices they advertised. Citrus came through for me with a clean deal and sent an email documenting close to exactly what I would be paying.

I brought checks from my credit union and a certified check from my bank and wrote a personal check for the final $20 or so needed to finalize the sale. The only negative was having to spend half of the day at the dealership waiting to get the deal done because they were busy. It was a Saturday morning and we were not their only customer. It did gnaw on me, however, because I was a little worried they would not deliver on the deal I had negotiated. After all, when a deal seems too good to be true, you should be suspicious. George did try to sell us two different extended warranties, but the pressure to do so was subtle. We did end up buying one, but after thinking about it later, I was able to cancel it and get a refund. Overall, I was pleased with the deal we got at Citrus and would not hesitate to recommend them based upon my experience. It sounds like the savings available on new cars have changed a lot since last year at this time.

That is a fantastic deal especially on a GT2. Congrats on your car and striking a deal like that. I was trying to look for a 2020 model but there is absolutely none anywhere. So I am stuck with going with the 2021 model. I feel like the only thing working in my favor right now is Covid granted that is not a good thing but it is if you are in the market for a car. Second would be the end of the year deals. I know Citrus has one listed at 40K for the GT1. You were able to get a GT2 for 43k i do not see why I cannot get something around 36k including tax and etc. Maybe that is wishful thinking but you never know. Yeah what i noticed is that George does not seem pushy at all. But yeah I will definitely make sure they do not try to tack on any extras to raise the price when it is not even required. The warranty they have right now is fantastic so canceling your extended warranty was a good move anyway. We will see what Monday holds when he is back in the office. I am really hoping for a smooth process like I mentioned before this is my first time dealing with a dealer for a car.

Good Luck. There seems to be a shortage of some cars these days which may work against you in a supply and demand situation. Just out of curiosity, I looked at some ads for 2020 Mercedes E350s with low miles similar to our Stinger and found several with under 10K miles at my local dealer for about $45k, which seemed cheap to me since my 2019 GT2 is apparently worth about $35k from what I can see in the blue book. I am not ready to move on at this time but found the numbers interesting. And then again, to get a Mercedes E with the features and power of my GT2 I would have to get an E450. These are hard to find and a good $10k more than the E350.
