Help my 0-60 time.

I saw a good amount in various threads yes. Not sure exactly why. I mean is the brake snip purely a mod that lets you run higher RPM in launch mode? From my understanding the stock torque converter isn't so strong, hence the limitations?
Yeah. There is a risk, and a few people have launched like idiots—holding 3000 rpms for five seconds and launching. Lol

Isn't that the idea though? To launch closer to 3000 RPM? If it can't handle that, it's clearly a weak link and not made for that kind of power.

So whats the proper way to launch a completely stock car GT2 AWD? I cant get my 0-62 time below 5.2 and with the standard launch control I'm getting a bit of wheel spin from the launch.
I'm thinking a bit of time is lost because I do not have Michelin PS4-s but rather a bit cheaper Yokohama AdvanSport tires and secondly because I have a bit of extra sound insulation & i'm a heavy guy myself (300lbs), but is that really making me that much cheaper compared to the numbers it comes from the factory?
Did a test last night with a Vbox and the results are on the picture. I'm running premium gas by European standards (98 not cheaper 95)106130687_1200273400308304_6976674644182972874_n.jpg

That’s what my 2019gt2ran box stock. I found the 18s were in fact a good bit faster in stock form than 19s and 2020s. My guess was the factory dialed back the off line power after the initial year launch to save on components. I’ve seen few 2019 and 2020 post sub 4.9 and up 0-60 times. Jb4 and I takes on map 2 and I pull mid 4’s on a q octane. Still a dog out the gate

I'm also running 20" Vossens which I suppose doesnt help with the rolling weight the bigger wheel is adding. I do wonder if PS4-s could help me with the traction issues compared to current Yokohamas.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

It’s very important not to hold high RPMs. The purpose of the LC is to make sure you can’t hold high RPM or hold them for too long. That’s why there is a four second window.

The exact same thing is happening to me. I have a 2018 GT2 with JB4 and straight pipe (except for stock downpipes ik) and honestly feel like running with 4.5 gallons of e85 makes me slower. Even with 93 octane I get over 5 second 0-60 on Map 7!! I daily drive on map 2 and it feels fast but I manually timed it and got a friend to time me and it’s always above 5 seconds.

I feel like there could be a problem with the turbos not putting out enough boost or something. I definitely need to get my car DYNO’d because it doesent feel like the 450WHP that @Terry@BMS advertises JB4 will get you.

Big wheels add quite a bit of loss, Motortrend did something on this once, 16-17 where fastest, 18's close, above that you started seeing .2 sec or so loss per inch higher.

I can easily hold 3-4k rpm for 5 secs on my G37 sedan. And this is in a car where you do not have faith in the transmission. I rarely launch like this because it's bad for all of the components, but old school G brake torque method works great when used. I can also do nice burnouts. All with tc off, of course. I also run 5.2-5.3s 0-60 all the time, I am actually about to pull the trigger on a 2020 GT RWD and this lack of power and speed section is bumming me out. 5.2-5.5? Really? Jeeze, makes me want to pull the trigger on an Audi A5 sportback, which is just as fast if not faster. I do not have an autobahn near me, so low speed limit responsiveness is important. Gosh! 5.2?? That is not even really quick, tbh, by today's standard. I do not want to buy a stinger, and then have A4s and 8 year old G37s beating up on me all day.

Is your Vbox set to subtract out the 1-foot rollout distance? Published 0-60 mph (or 0-100 kph) times subtract out the time from a stop to 1-foot of travel. This 1-foot of rollout can be up to 0.3 seconds.

Do magazines / manufacturers subtract the 1 foot? If so I think I can get in the 2s!
