So I've been toying with this idea for a couple of months and thought I'd try it but now that I have, I really can't decide which way I like it best.
Normally I'd just do something and change it if I don't like it but I don't want to waste my $'s on getting it done professionally if I decide I don't like it so, I'm looking for opinions / guidance.
I'm trying to break up all the red.

NOTE: The wrap I put on is just to get an idea of the look.
I suck at it and will get it done right if I go that way.

So, without ?

Without black.webp

or, with ?

With black.webp

The red is a really nice color. Be a shame to outright cover big chunks. And the gloss black would look "weird" next to the spoiler. Smaller accents, maybe wrap the gas cap, the trim and black out any emblems. Those updates and some dark gray/black rims would really set it off.

the tops of the taillights are not 'big chunks' in my opinion. this is unique accenting and I think it works because of the blacked out side reflectors. but I agree the finish should match, don't put gloss and satin / matt black together.

And yes, I agree with not mixing Matt with gloss.
Might have to gloss up the rear spoiler somehow.

Well it seems ive found your thread....sooo here we go.

Now coming from someone whose car looks like a panda i cant say much. Think if you go with a CF decklid and light caps (which they sell btw) and CF reflector deletes life will be super smooth for you.

Now if thats not an option I actually think it really doesn't look bad with the wrap on. Ill agree with @Snicklefritz it is a unique accent. Now have you considered the other direction? The reflectors tend to dissappear in to the red so unwap those and color match the spoiler? Just a thought.

Id say wrap it badly just for a day or two and see how you feel walking out to it. Or when you park and look back at it while walking away. I know that when i added my CF fuel door it took a day or so for me to really like it on the car. The black is a change that may take a second to get used to.

I'd say go gloss black on the spoiler and leave the reflectors stock.

Great ideas team. Thanks. Think I'll try some rough wrapping variations when I get some time.
