Hi all!
It's been quite a while since I last logged in, and principally it is because my car is running great, and I spend my time keeping it that way and clean.

BUT -- now that I am at 32,000 miles, I need pads. I did some quick searches on this site and there is plenty of recommendations for other than Brembo pads, but I would prefer to stick with a Brembo product. YET MY DILEMMA ---- BREMBO CUSTOMER (USA) SERVICE SAYS THAT THEY DO NOT MAKE PADS FOR THE CAR?!!! What is going on?!!

I've been reading the Brembo pads for our cars are not even very good, unless you get the Euro spec ones. Why not check out the EBC Red, Greens or even Yellows?

that makes me wonder if the reason the us pads are worse than euro ones, is that euro ones are regular brembos vs the US where they changed the pad formula for less dust/noise (can still be made by brembo but not sold outside of to the manufacturer)
Pads and Discs for KIA STINGER (CK) 3.3 T-GDi 4WD europe has the pads... :(

Very interesting. A Korean built car; sold in the US; US OEM for brakes no can do; EU maybe.

All I know is that these original brakes stop me in a hurry when I need them to; are quiet; very low dust; no warpage on the rotors; and have lasted 32,000+ miles on the front. All said, not too shabby. Pads have not yet hit the "noise maker" and I want to keep it that way.

To quote the Waterboy: " No mama....he... the search continues!"

other option would be to get the kia part at the ridiculous prices they are... 2018-2021 Kia Stinger Brake Pads 58101 J5A51 | Kia Automotive Parts

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Brembo is the OEM for the caliper. They probably don't have anything to do with the pads other than telling Kia the dimensional specs.

The pads are Brembo too: pics have been posted (and recently) showing "Brembo" on the pads.

At 50.6K+ miles my OEM pads are still showing c. 8mm thickness. At this rate, I will have got my money's worth out of them when I get replacements via Kia ripoff prices. Hah.

I have a set from my '22 GT1 that I took off at 200 miles, if you're interested, I switched to PowerStop pads because I hate dust. I don't think they changed the calipers or pads but DM if you think they'll fit.

The powerstop z26 are silent and dust free for me, with better bite than the us pads.

I don't even think the brakes are Stinger specific. Instead of searching for "OEM Stinger brake pads," find the part number for the calipers and search for pads that fit those part numbers.

there is a cross reference somewhere. I have read that mitsubishi EVOs have the same pad size, minus the extra weights. not sure if the weights are truly necessary, some have reported silence without them, but the powerstops do have them.

why would you want the (oem) not brembo pads ? they suck as most of us know . there are tons of company's that make really good pads for our cars , i use the hawk hps pads on mine there great and pretty cost effective .
