Welcome aboard! Thank you for signing up!I'm glad to finally join this forum, I'm from Maryland and a week ago I just purchased a brand new 2019 kia stinger gts awd. My dream has finally came true
Less than 500 of the 800 GTS delivered are AWD. Every AWD comes with ECS. Springs: I don't know what you're talking about here: as every Stinger has the same springs as far as I have read/heard.Welcome! Out of curiosity does anyone know if the GTS comes equipped with the AWD dynamic suspension setting and springs or the RWD? I assume it's the AWD?
what part of MD?

I'm not going with that. AWD wouldn't function worth a damn without ECS: the entire concept of AWD is centered around regulating brakes and power individually to each wheel as the sensors dictate road conditions and maneuvering of the car. Lacking ECS would compromise this technical approach. So I think it's an "all or nothing" deal: if you don't have AWD you don't need ECS. Now, somebody clear up my misconceptions. I'll wait …From what a tech told me the suspension is static since it has the option from the gt and not the gt2
I was under the impression all GTS models were AWD and that drift mode sends 100% power to the rear wheels which basically converts the car to RWD with all the nannies turned off. Currently this is impossible with the standard Stinger AWD (80% max power to the rear in sport mode). I also didn't realize the Stinger had the same spring rates for AWD as RWD (fail on Kia's part IMO). My question pertained to what combination of suspension they used on the GTS, dynamic or not, AWD or RWD damping rates and spring rates.Less than 500 of the 800 GTS delivered are AWD. Okay, I may have misspoken on the springs: when I said that as far as I have read/heard the springs on the Stinger are the same for RWD and AWD, I was actually asserting that all five trims have the same springs. This is, as I just said, an assertion.
