Hello all! My name is Steve and I am the lucky owner of the very last Stinger GTS sold in Colorado - I had been eyeing a Stinger since they were first announced, but it was the orange GTS that sealed the deal for me. I live in Morrison, Colorado on a dirt road on the top of a mountain and this car has been an absolute beast getting me to and from Denver every day. Can't think of a better car to tackle both the city and the mountains. Anyways here's a photo of the ride and looking forward to getting to know y'all better in the days ahead!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Stinger GTS! What did the Stinger replace for you?

Thank you! It did not replace a vehicle fortunately. I've still got my Chevy Colorado ZR2 for those really rough days up here and for getting our trash & recycling down the mountain... trash company won't come all the way up here (weaklings!) Also we've got a modified Saturn Sky Red Line for those nice warm days in the mountains but with the crazy weather lately, hasn't seen much activity since September or so.

Howdy. I am eyeing Pike's Peak, hopefully for next summer. Have you ever taken a nice performance ride up and down it?

Not Pikes specifically, but certainly mainly similar roads around the mountains. The problem with the popular landmarks like Pikes, Mt. Evans etc. is that there is usually a line of traffic and not much opportunity to open up your engine. The more fun roads, IMO are the mountain passes like Monarch, Wolf Creek, Coal Creek, really the whole Peak To Peak Highway... plenty of nice stretches with no cars, great sharp turns (if you're into that), and of course, breathtaking scenery.

Welcome to the hive Steagl3. Love the car. Looks great. Doesn't look like its been down any dirt roads. o_O

They keep Pike's Peak snow free? That surprises me, actually. I assumed it was either not maintained, or only partially, requiring chains and the like.

Welcome! Aboard!

That's awesome Alex. I've only been down that way twice and each time it was pretty busy. But that was in the summer, maybe the holidays had something to do with it. Beautiful photo!

Thanks! It's hard keeping it clean, but it helps when it's icy and below freezing as it hasn't turned to mud yet ;) Once mud season hits, it will be a much different story
