Hi everyone, my name is Joe. I’m a firefighter in Florida. I just got a GT on lease and I gotta say it’s an impressive car. Not the fastest I have ever owned but man is it a great combo of speed and comfort. Looking forward to learning some tuning tips here to really get this car moving.

Best pics I have at the moment. I’m in the Clearwater area. We replaced my wife’s Genesis sedan. It’s our family ride. My daily vehicle is the 1965 Ford F100 in the background. It’s motor is no slouch either. I like having sleeper style vehicles and the Stinger kind of fits the category. Kinda has a more luxury sedan look but with really impressive acceleration.

Nice Stinger! When clean the black is fantastic! Fort Myers, here. Seems Stingers are making a presence in Florida’s!

Thank you. Yeah, I love black cars. I actually wanted silver but the dealership didn’t have one. The black suits me fine though. I have only seen a couple Stinger GTs on the road in my area, which suits me fine. I hate having a car that is all over the place.

Lol!, me too, but while I love how much performance new cars give me there is just something about old school muscle that I love. I built the motor that’s in the F100 and for an old school pushrod 302 it makes great power (dynoed over 280 at the wheels) and sounds amazing. (For reference the 5.0 mustangs made 225 hp)

Thank you! It’s almost done mechanically. Still need to rebuild the rear end. Then it’s paint and body. Have a few rust spots to take care of then painting it Shelby Jade. Gonna be awhile before that happens though.
