Hi everyone,

Just wanted to post and say hello as a new member. I do not have a Stinger yet, but I’m close and have so many questions I felt it was a good idea to join now and get all my ducks in a row.

I’m one of those when i see a car that gets my attention, I’m locked in..kinda like a college kid on Adderall. I’m currently looking to get a GT for the TT v6 but may have to settle for the 2.5 T.. due to affordability and gas mileage. I can’t see myself going for the 2.0T considering my Honda s2000 in its current state would slaughter it.

My Honda s2000 will always be my number 1 obsession, but at 23 years old she needs a clutch, coil overs, front end refresh and interior refresh..so she needs to be parked and I want my daily to represent the last 30 years of busting my ass into the ground to build my career. I chose the Stinger as my reward..just need to find the right one!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! Well, if you end up with the 2.0T, it can always be tuned for better performance. Either way, it's an amazing looking car and is rare enough to still turn heads even after all these years...
 
Thanks for all the info. Im almost 50 years old, and any performance mods i do to any car will go to my S2k first, i think thats why i want the GT so its just already done and im happy. But who knows, maybe ill get the tuner bug back and try the 2.0T if i just cant afford a GT. Except for my S2K, ive always driven shitboxes as daily drivers asits all i could ever afford so this time i want it to be real nice..i feel i earned it after 30 years dedicated to the wife, kids and career. ... so lets see what i can get and when.. im just at that point where i feel it finally my turn to have something for me..

You’re not over-communicating at all. :) Since you already have your fast car, I think you’ll be pretty happy with the four cylinder turbo. It’s got a decent amount of power and turns heads everywhere.
 
Hey @RickyV,

It's great to have you here and you will love the Stinger.

Coming from a JDM background, this platform offers a very similar community and a lot of aftermarket options.

The 2.5T is quick, but it is hard to compare to the 3.3TT V6 I recommend.
