Just wanted to say hello and thanks for all the useful info I used lurking on this site. Pulled the trigger and purchased a 2019 Blue G2 AWD. Just drove home today.

Coming off of a BWM 550i RWD. Was hit with a big estimated required maintenance to pass inspection come February so decided to cut ties. I had 131K on it. I was a little unsure about going KIA, as I had not really looked into the new car offerings the last few years and boy have they come a long way. Love the look of it and after a long test drive, I loved it.

Again, thanks to all the contributors here. Read through a bunch of posts from everything from features to price and it was all super helpful. Seems like a nice community here and hope I can add to it in anyway I can.

Next stop, I got to get me that rear Stinger badge. Going to leave hood kia I think, but I really love the look of the rear one.

550 was a 2011. I bought it in 2013 with 18k. I liked it a lot. It had a nice V8. But to be honest, the Stinger feels great! Definitely looks nicer but then again all new cars do. But it is not that big a step down if at all. Although a V6, the Stinger feels just as powerful. 0-60 is really close (4.5 vs 4.7)

haha. Yeah. Its funny I was about 37/38 years old when I bought the BMW. As much as I want to think brands don't matter to me and I am above that petty crap, I think my ego got the best of me then. I think after I hit 40 I have a better perspective on a lot of things and was finally able to not give a BEEP what others think and get something that drives great and looks good regardless of the brand. Add to that the reliability rating of Kia, warranty and all the good press the Stinger has received, I was able to pull the trigger without a second thought.
