Weird thing I noticed today. The vents are blowing warm air when the temperature dial is set to low. Doesn't change until set to 24C (75F) ... above that the temperature increases as it should.

My car is two years old with only 14,000 km (8400 mi) .. could a sensor be malfunctioning? Anyone else run into this problem?

Are you saying that the set temperature is inoperative unless you set it to a minimum of 75F? I wouldn't worry about warm air coming out if the interior temperature feels comfortable, i.e. where you set it. By the way, the manual says that the optimum setting for Auto is 73F. When the weather turns cold, that's where I set it. When the weather is warm I select 79F. Rarely do I use any other setting.

do you have the actual AC on? if not, you wont get any colder air, even if the temp is set to a cold temp.

Quite often I'll have the temperature set to "low" and bring in outside air.
Yesterday the air coming in was warm. Like I had set the heat to approximately 24C (75F).
It's weird because I always do this and I'll get "outside" temperatures which weren't all that hot yesterday.
It's like the thermostat got "stuck" or is malfunctioning.

No AC was off. I actually did run it to "cool down" the plumbing and then turned if off. Within a minute or two the air coming through was warm again --- even with the temp set to low --- and being relatively cool outside. Strange given that I do this often and I usually get "outside" temperatures....
