Anyone tint thier headlights. Curious on how it would look ... especially on Hichroma Red. 1000 words please!

Hey rango, I had posted about the tints on my stinger, including the headlights. Mine is the sunset yellow, but you will get a general idea of how it looks.

Here are mine with partial "eyebrow" tints. Used some knife less tape and followed the lines inside the housing. I was trying to get rid of the crappy orange side markers, but still keep full headlight visability. Best of both worlds and came out great I thin.

I ordered the headlight, rear reflector and reverse light smoke vinyl from Premium Auto Styling. The reverse light pieces went on pretty easy and turned out good. The rear reflector film was not cut to the proper length so no go on that. Now the headlight amber delete. I couldn’t get the vinyl to lay correct for the life of me. I tried several times and it wasn’t working out. I then went to a tint shop and they gave me a price of around $100 for them to do it with their film. I tried again and wound up cutting the film to just cover the amber which is all I wanted anyway. It looks ok but it’s not perfect.

Were you trying to do the whole headlight? I found the headlight eyebrows to be pretty easy. Just followed the lines of the OEM housing internally with knife less tape. Made a nice gradual radius turn down the side. Then I laid down the vinyl starting at the top, then heat stretched down. Took about 5 mins a side

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

These were pre cut pieces.

I never understood why people tint their tail lights and headlights aside form looks, all other effect are cons. Those are one of the most critical components in a moving vehicle, especially when its dark.
You are effectively reducing visibility of your car to other drivers (when tinting taillights) and you are also reducing your visibility at night (when tinting headlights).
If you are looking to get rid of the orange then what @KLR STINGER did is your best option.

That did come out great!
