I've searched but cannot find the right topic...is there a way to adjust how sensitive the lights are? I know the LED's are very reliable, but is there a way to make them not come on when going under a bridge for 3 seconds?
I guess just personal old habit. All my previous cars had HID's and the on/off cycles supposedly shorten the life of those.Don't believe that's adjustable from what I'm seen, but curious why it matters to you?
Have you selected "Auto"? If so switch out of Auto mode.I've searched but cannot find the right topic...is there a way to adjust how sensitive the lights are? I know the LED's are very reliable, but is there a way to make them not come on when going under a bridge for 3 seconds?
I've experienced both conditions; when I thought the headlights kicked on needlessly; and driving into the dawn the nighttime map screen stays on until I drive into a blast of direct sunlight. Seems that headlights have a mind of their own; sometimes they turn off before the nighttime screen does. Not a lot of consistency. It's a minor thing. I can always turn ON or OFF if I disagree with the light sensor's "decision".I actually have the complete opposite, mine hardly ever turn on until its pitch black. Even in torrential rain they never turn on (and I have to manually turn on). Is there anyway the dealer can change this sensitivity?
