Thank you.I've never heard of that but I will look into it.I appreciate itPolish / buff it out carefully, then maybe get clear bra or xPel. I did xPel on the headlamps the week I bought the car, road rash is real. Looks like xPel might have saved me from dealing with this as well.
Please let me know how that goes for you. Because the key dealerships are pretty shittyMine looks just like that on my 22 uv protection failing, you could have it polished out, I'm going to hit the dealer up for replacement and see what they say
At the time xPel was $150-ish for both lights. The headlamp housing is expensive to replace and sensitive enough to rock chips and sand blasting from road travel over time it's worth it. I don't know, but I hate it!Ima guessing that a clearcoat was added to the lenses. I've never seen that before. Does ceramic coating do that when it's failing?
