HD Radio?

Radio does not seem to be getting HD channels. This was a feature in my 2015 Optima. Anyone know anything about this?

I don't know anything about it. But I can say I'm very disappointed with the sound quality coming from radio channels vs. streaming or USB.

I think you have to enable HD Radio in the set up portion. We only have 1 station that broadcasts in digital, so it's the only one that shows up for me with HD channels.

Awesome, I was hoping it was something like this. I will fiddle with the settings tomorrow and see if I can find it. We have several channels in the DFW area in HD including stations only available in HD.

Several? Lucky! The only thing in Shreveport in HD is NPR. Though, I do like their all classical channel.

Make sure you have it enabled.

Hmm still was not able to get it working. Unless I am missing something it doesn't seem like it needs to be enabled per se.. but should just show when the HD channel is available automatically.. that's how my optima was. I will take a picture of my screen later. I am only seeing Band, Info, and Scan as options when I am on a channel that definitely broadcasts in HD

Interesting. I've not paid close enough attention over the years to channels in the area. But the two I use most have HD available in the Stinger.

I have not checked myself yet because I never listen to the crappy stations around here though some are in HD but I don't think it is a US thing.

But the two I use most have HD available in the Stinger.

Because last I knew Illinois was in the US!

What trim level do you have? I have a base GT but am not seeing HAD radio available for any US Stingers. So weird. I check set up, too, and nothing.

Damn...my base GT doesn't have HD Radio then. It doesn't say it on the bezel.
