Hi, my frieds get my headlmp scratched. Its just too deep to remove by polish. It sounds too waste to change the whole unit. Wonder know any one know is there headlamp cover could be purchase?
Thanks a lot!

The only suggestion I can think of other than a full headlamp replacement would be Lamix film. They sell a "tint" option that lightly darkens the lens so maybe that would help hide it?

Hi. When I had PPF put on the full front, it included the headlights. As for "too deep", get opinions first. There is probably stuff that can be done to knock back how visible the scratch is, then do PPF over it.

That's why I put Xpel on mine. Worth the $150 to avoid this hassle. [posted for the benefit of others reading this thread]

Thx! The bodyshop recomand same but just wanna check any chance around $200 to replace that. Its too deep to remove totoly.

What about calling {dare I say it?} Safelite and ask them to fix it like a windshield chip??????

Stek tinted PPF. Not precut like Laminx so a ferfect fit can be achieved. Housing is dark so film appears a lot darker than what it actually is. Very little loss of light and I believe well within 15% limit allowed here.

Have you noticed much or any reduction of light from the headlights when driving at night.

I don't do much night driving so hard to compare but I think any loss is minimal.
