Hatch rattle fix

The hatch rattle fix involving the washers as described elsewhere on this forum works well. But it does leave the hatch lid sitting proud of the wings and under a lot of pressure. I wonder is there another way of sorting it.

Did you slap double washers in? Or did you work up to that? Because "less is more" might work for you, creating less pressure on the hatch latch.
