I've searched and searched and could not find the differences between the EK1Lite and Pro other than the better display on the Pro. If I buy the Pro and currently have a Lite can I also transfer my tuning files? Can I sell the Lite after I've done so or is it permanently locked to my VIN? Also, is the Pro connected via OBD2 port or do I tap into a fuse? Can't find anything online addressing those questions.

Call EK1. The site talked about the differences and yeah, it's almost entirely the size of the unit and the display/interface.

The Pro plugs into the ODB2. It does have a blue wire but that's only needed if you decide to keep it hooked up for the gauges. That wire will go to Ign so it knows when to shut off and not burn your battery down. Your lite is tied to your VIN. Resale on these things really hasn't happened yet because they are so new. I would imagine that Sxth will have to get the EK back from the new owner so it's cleared and programmed with the new VIN. That might have a small fee associated with it. Another scenario I see coming is if an owner changes or buys a new Stinger and wants to keep his EK and use it on his new ride. (Me, LOL)
One other advantage to the Pro is it comes with a micro SD card, so you can easily move a tune from your phone or laptop directly to the PRO and select it.

Yeah I'm still waiting on Sxth to change my profile and add the Pro's S/N so I can transfer my tunes to it. I've been sitting on this thing since yesterday waiting for them to get back to me.

Sxth doesn't take phone calls. Entirely on a "create ticket" system now.
