As some of you know, most Stingers with the OEM 19" staggered wheels outside of the US come from the factory with the ContiSportContact 5. Has anyone switched from them to any Michelin tire or particularly the Pilot Sport 4? I would like to know if you've noticed any improvements in grip or longevity.
Yep i did the change i got 28,000km from the contis, the backs were worn the front i still replaced although it was mainly just the edges that were worn.
Changed out to std Ps4 i have done about 5,000km on them so a bit early to tell although the differences ive noticed are the Ps4's handle and turn in better whereas i feel the contis were quieter and smoother. I expect to get more mileage out of the Ps4's.

I switched to Conti premium contact 6, not through choice, it was all they had in stock and I had a huge chunk taken out of a front sidewall.
no noticeable difference in performance or handling however they do make a different noise. Not worse just different.
This is interesting. I plan to change to Contis when my PS4s need to be replaced. I had Conti ExtremeSports on my last car, 2016 Camaro SS, and they held up well. They had about 14k miles on them when I sold the car and had plenty of treat left.
However, the Extreme Contact 5 and 6 are likely made differently than my tires.
