Has anyone installed the “Door Handle Latch Catcher Back Panels”?

I ordered these a few days ago from
Amazon, but wanted to see if anyone had added them to their doors

I did on my yellow GT. You have to replace the plastic cover that is currently there now. Also, the tape they use sucked and lost stickiness especially in hot summer months, so I replaced there stickies with 3m then they stayed adhered.

Ahhh...thanks, good to know. How much of a task was it to remove the plastic cover? I wonder if spray adhesive would work as well.

The covers there just pop out with a plastic wedge, very easy. I probably wouldn't use spray.. you need some thickness to the double sided tape to have it adhere properly.. You'll understand more what I'm saying once you do the first one.

I wonder why they didn't make them snap in like the stock pieces. Strange.

Harder to shape clips and cutouts in metal. Just cheaped out by not using VHB..
