Has anyone here discussed this wing?

A wing made for a G-lady can fit and, in my own style, complements the stingers look. I do not know how i feel about messing woth aerodynamics of a car with a high top speed. At the same time it does justice :/ conflicted and not purchasing one but hey heres a thread for spoilers!

Photos shamlessly ripped from the link if you dont want to follow it.

Personally this wing is not for me. I do think the Stinger has the looks to pull off a crazy wing like that but still not for me.

I agree that I doubt that wing was actually wind tunnel tested on the Stinger so it might actually have an adverse affect on top speed and stability at speed. Would look cool on a track car if it's actually functional.

IMO, it looks awful on this car. Put it back on the Cobalt SS it came from.

I need to explain my wing fascination.
I had a mitsubishi eclipse with a lip spoiler
I owned an eg hatch with a duck bill
An rx7 with a big 57 inch wang
With many different end peices
And the same rx7 with a skyline r32gtr wing and those all looked nice
Oh and my current 240sx has a roof/hatch wing too
Just comes down to true aero in this case because 135 + does happen and the worst thing to do is have it rip off or thow the tail out in use

Unnecessary explanation complete

As wings go, that one works best of the several I've seen bandied about on here. But no way. I really think wings are over the top ricer-look stuff.

Not for me. The true beauty of a car is one that just needs small refinements to enhance its already elegant look. This IMO is a visual distraction from the handsom lines of the car. In addition, realize your small rear view will be compromised even further.

Stinger ass is sexy and refined as it is, for me it would look too busy and not refined. But is your car.

Big wings aren't really my thing but I do fancy lip spoilers on some cars. What is kinda funny is my widebody 240sx drift car doesn't even have a spoiler, In fact none of my current fleet have rear spoilers.

That spoiler would look really good...

...on a Civic Type R.

It would further restrict the already limited view out the rear window.

I like it. And would have purchased it if it were not so far out of my budget. It seems to be popular for the Stinger in South Korea. Once upon a time when I was into JDM cars, you made your car look JDM. Hence why I did the KDM badge swap. So this spoiler was my #1 choice but just couldn’t afford it.

Agreed. This reminds me very much if the Jaguar XFR-S rear wing, and that us also a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't think I'd ever have one, but if it has the balls to back it up, it does look good.

I want to hate it but I can't.

I do not like that wing at all for some reason. I think the stinger looks great without a wing, but I love the Seibon C-Style duck bill. That is what I would eventually do.
