Hello,
I am looking at purchasing a 2019 GT1 and am wondering if it is worth going the lease/buyout route in Connecticut. I would do the buyout through my credit union.

Regards,
Bull

Did you end up doing this? I am about to pull the trigger myself in CT

I ended up buying a 2019 GT at the end of last year.

Did you lease and then buyout the lease? Or just purchased it?
No, I just purchased it because the OTD was pretty good and I wasn't sure how much of a hassle it would be doing the lease buyback.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I’m 99% sure I’m going to sign for a lease tomorrow and buy it out a week later. I’ll let you know if I find any surprises but I’ve done a lot of research and I think I’ve got all my ducks in a row.

Do you mind if I ask what you were able to negotiate off of MSRP as a dealer discount? And what specific trim it was?

The MSRP was $43,195 for a white pearl 2019 GT. The only option I added was a remote starter. There was a trade in of $991 for our old high mileage 2011 Ford Escape. The otd was $34,475. My wife insisted on the additional warranty that I really did't want but caved in for her sake. That was added on to the old price after. Let me know what you came up with when you pay it off? I really wanted a GT1 but didn't want to go through the hassle of the lease. I have to say we love the car. Good luck.

I just pulled the trigger on an AWD GTS. MSRP was 47,725.. I negotiated 10% off MSRP. The 10% off MSRP is BEFORE the lease incentives, so 42,952.50 is the “agreed upon value”... After the 10,220 lease incentive, I’m at a sale price of $32,732.50.

The dealership I leased from wrapped the first months payment into the 10,220 lease incentive, and put all the Title License and Reg Fees and Dealership Doc Fees into the lease payments, so I drove off without paying a penny.

ACC equalled out to 35,087.75... 32,732.50 + 343 (License, Title, Reg) + 598.50 (Dealer Doc Fee) + 650 (Acquisition Fee) + 763.75 (First months payment wrapped in)

So all in: 35,087.75 + 300 (buyout fee) + 2,228.07 (6.35% sales tax) = 37,615.82
