Yes Kia has been pretty adamant on not negotiating on price, we had a customer who wanted discount, and head office said give them 1 free oil change. They are sticking to their guns. Also expect price to increase by thousands come 2019. (Canadian)

Exactly ! The Canadian guys that are grinding on price and wont pull the trigger and say they are waiting till next year because they feel they need a discount will be wishing they had bought during the pre order ......................just my $.02

That makes sense. Canadian price is awesome anyway. I would be getting one while the getting is good.

After today's snow fall here in ontario.. and how some streets are covered... and how low the stinger is in comparison to the optima lol i will cringe ever time i drive it if i get one.. i felt my optima with how it low it is already was clearing snow lol

It sounds like the Canadians are getting a short-lived discount to boost interest. It's what Lexus did here in the U.S. with the Lexus LS400 back in 1989...

I agree , they will inch it up by a few thousand , while introducing the lower priced 2.0 L to balance out the "value" , I'm pretty sure they'll stay the course of offering only AWD though.....................

Yes, I think you're right - bring on the 2.0T, raise the price of the GT and stick with AWD...

I was able to get a dealer to verbally commit to $680 per month on a 36 mo/12k lease with zero down. Didn't take too much effort. Dealer is Kia Bellingham in Washington. This is for the GT2 AWD in Blue with black interior. I was just curious what I could get over the phone as I am cross shopping this and the Audi S5. I am getting the S5 now but wanted to pass along the deal...If it is actually a deal.

Impossible color combination. GT2 Blue only comes with grey nappa interior. You can't get black interior for Blue exterior GT2 in the USA.

Played off 2 dealers and got the price reduced from 67500 AUD to 65000 driveaway including a tank of gas, 12 months registration, metallic premium paint and no dealer delivery fee. It’s easy when you know how the system works.
