Had an accident

I rear ended a vehicle today. He had rear ended car in front of him. No one was hurt. My door makes noise while opening by rubbing on frame.

The door rubbing against body feels like the frame was bent. I am not sure if it would get repaired may be totalled.

Dropping the plan to buyout the car though.

If the fender is merely pushed back that could account for the door binding/popping. I doubt that you hit hard enough to bend the chassis. The airbags would deploy.

Get it fixed buy another one. The are never the same after an accident. I would say the frame is twisted and will need straightening. Are you ok?

Should have used it. I was too aggressive and adaptive cruise control felt too conservative.

I use it practically everywhere. Conservative yes, but that’s the point, foot on the gas when needed.

No frame damage on that one , your fender is pushed into your door slightly . you'll be fixed like new !

I agree! That frame is NOT bent.
Replace the fender and repair the bumper cover and door.

You might get the insurance company to buy a new bumper cover and put some $$ in your pocket.

Just beeping, what setting do you have it set at? Late? Seems like it should have helped you avoid it and may have failed its whole purpose.

Heads up, a lot of insurance companies prefer to use Service King - I don't recommend them. I went to pick up my car after it was there for over two weeks only to find shoddy work. It's been another week and I still don't have my car back. I have very little confidence in them.

would love to see an itemized estimate , doesnt look that bad
