On my way to cars and coffee this morning, deserted road, rolling about 65 mh and this S7 comes right up my ass. this particular road happens to be on a "reservation" of sorts. not patrolled by sheriff or regular police. early morning, dry, sunny, not a another car on the road, good pavement, etc., so I say what the hell and hammer it! Of course I have the jump as I'm in front, so I immediately open about three car lengths, then I can clearly see i'm just walking away. open up about 8-10 car lengths, hit 130mph and shut it down. brakes on, pull it back down to 80, then coast down to 65 again, guy stays right on my ass, so proceed to walk away two more times, each time shutting down at 130-ish. last time I roll it back to 80 and I see him charging up on me ready for a pass, I let him go, he finishes the pass, then I nail it again. once he was in front I basically just paced him up to about 120, then I shut it down and let him roll. I think he was a little pissed and a lot surprised. Honestly he must have been stock at 444 HP, because he was not as fast as I was, but very close. now that car is 600lbs heavier, but I did have a 165lb passenger. (not my wife, lol!) it was a very clear win. I'm running JB4 map 2, 93 octane, BMS intakes, borla catback. S7 was brand spanking new. 85k+ for the Audi vs 47k after all mods for the stinger. Stinger is the winner again, LOL! Although I would happily trade it for an S7 or an RS7 (with a JB4) Love the audi interior.

GT2, 42.5k cost, plus 5k in mods (includes rims and other cosmetics, not just performance mods)

Pretty cool you could hang with the S7 but the whole money comparison with mods is pointless. For every guy that wins a race in a cheaper car there's a guy with a cheaper car that could make the same comparison.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

True. Plenty of Golf R and even GTI people could easily walk away from that GT2.

so funny you said that because I used to drive a GTI and now my son drives it, and is about to go stage 2 and he will be hanging with the stinger no problem. a damn 2016 GTI! LOL

What year and where? New or used? That's dirt cheap.
2019 GT2, bought new for 42.5k, charlotte, NC. got it in january 2020, it had been on the lot for like 6 months. they had it advertised for 43.5k and I said what else can you do, they took another 1k off.
