For the adaptative cruise control, my wife has it on her 2016 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited w/EyeSight package and we both can't stand it. It's a matter of opinion and personnal taste, which isn't debatable. Glad you like it It's just not for me

It's also situational coz there's things the adaptive is crap at doing. Must admit I have far less freak outs from my cruise and anti collision systems than subie users seem to report.

On a 1 lane highway, adaptive cuis is great but I don't use it on multi lane highways, I'm usually going faster than most and don't want to be going that slow.

i do the same. I find that on multi-lane roads, the car starts to slow down just as I'm about to move left to pass, even when set on the smallest gap setting.
