I had some time this weekend, i could contribute to my stinger. So i decided to make fake plastic grill in the rear bumper less fake. Had some powder coated aluminum mesh i used for that. Also ordered stainless steel grills for door speakers. Double sided tape it came with would not stick to plastick door panel, so used windshield adhesive (shit sticks to everything) for that. Hopefully that's gonna hold over time.20220103_113426.jpg20220103_113434.jpg20220103_113515.jpg

looks good!

Update. The windshield adhesive doesn't work. The passenger side grill came off. At least it wasn't hard to remove adhesive from it. So anyone who knows how to attach it to door plastic, feel free to coment.

How permanent to you want it to be? Ultrablack but it will take a while to dry and will be a mess if you want to remove it... 3m tape should stick it as well

i wouldn't mind to make it as permanent as possible. 3m tape doesn't work. I tried

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I bet if you clean the plastic with alcohol, then use 3m adhesive promotor, the 3m tape would work. Just put it around the outside edge and give it a shot.

I cleaned it with alcohol. Didn't have a promoter. But by judging how weak the bond using the tape was, i doubt it would've made a big difference. Will probably try to remove the door panel, so i can lay it flat, and try to glue it with some epoxy. This way there's lot less chance to f... it up.
