Greetings from Minnesota!

I just joined the forums not too long ago as I recently purchased a 2019 GT2 AWD! (ah winter...)

I was originally going to get a GT or GT1, but the dealer I was working with had a demo unit that I got a smokin' deal on...and tbh the thing I was looking forward to the most was the air conditioned seats! ;)

Oh and it just happened to have ALL the kia badges replaced with the "E" all around (hood, wheel caps, steering wheel) AND had the "cursive" stinger badge on the trunk too!!!

I came from a 2011 Audi S4 and can honestly say the only thing I miss is the manual 6 speed! I love manuals...if they ever came out with a Stinger manual I'd trade in a heart beat!

I've already been playing with it and have a JB4 and CAIs. I plan to do a few more mods in the next couple months as well.

So far, very pleased!

Welcome. I too am in MN (MPLS area). Curious what dealer you were working with?
What color did you end up in. I hardly see any other stingers out there and I drive across town every day

Hey there! Yea, I too hardly see any others on the road. I'm in Lakeville and purchased from Luther Kia in Cottage Grove. I ended up getting the Pantera Metal, tbh wasn't my first choice but it grew on me and I like it quite a bit now. How about you? You wouldn't happen to have a red one and work in Edina would you? That is one of a few I've seen around so I thought I'd ask. :)

Nope, Black GT1. In Golden Valley but commute to Maplewood every day so all the way across both downtowns. Definitely didn't look at any of the panthera metal when I was shopping but as I see it more in pictures I am really diggin it.

Edit: Did you mean Inver Grove? I don't see a luther kia in cottage grove (or any kia dealer for that matter)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Yea, I meant Inver Grove ;)

When/Where'd you get yours and have you put any mods on it yet?
I assume you are talking to me? haha
I got mine from Luther as well in Bloomington last October. I can't believe I am coming up on a year pretty soon here. Currently the car is bone stock. My last vehicle was a Mazdaspeed6 that I had for right at 10 years. Ended up with a decent list of things I bolted on there (Cobb AP, intake, DP, intercooler, springs, various supporting things like fuel pump internals, mounts, etc.) It was a fun car that I learned a ton about modding and cars in general working on it. That said one of the big things Im enjoying about my Stinger is how comfortable and "refined" it is compared to the modded Mazda. I do a lot of commuting back and forth from work and its pretty nice how quiet and smooth the ride is. (Im getting old...) I've told myself that at least to start I would leave the Stinger alone. Combine that with some house projects this summer that have taken longer and cost more than I hoped, and I have be able to hold true to that. However I know I will eventually end up with a JB4 and likely intakes, lol. "For sure" will leave exhaust and suspension alone.
