Hi everyone. I am a current BMW 335i -12 owner who fell for the Stinger. Ordered a Panthera Gray GT AWD last week. Delivery delay here is five months which promises to be a long time...

Welcome to the "hive" and congratulations on your new Stinger--it'll be worth the wait! In the meantime, you'll find plenty of like-minded enthusiasts who are also very helpful and friendly on this forum! :)

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. 335i, huh? That's a pretty nice car and I think the Stinger is a good, natural progression from it. The Stinger GT is actually quicker, believe it or not. Pretty amazing. Is your 335i stock or are you running a tune?

Thanks. Yeah, I like my Bimmer but want something a little more spacious and with 4x4 to facilitate the skitrips to the Alps. The 335i without XDrive is not exactly the most performant snowplow...

I have been running it stock until very recently when I got the Racechip GTS. Don’t know why, to be honest. I never felt it was lacking in the go department.

The Stinger has gorgeous looks and, if I keep repeating it long enough, it might even start to look like more spacious too... just let’s not talk about the boot.

I was basically deciding between the Stinger GT and 530i XDrive. In the end I got a more attractive buy-in price from Kia which made the already cheaper vehicle even better bargain. Plus it just looks better! Luxembourg also probably has the highest Bimmer concentration in the world and I wanted to be a tad different...

Hey, well that's really interesting - considering RaceChip is here as well - with their GTS chip. How did it perform for you in the 335i?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Quite well, actually. Better than I expected. The turbocharged straight six is of course very low stock tune. Basically the same block naturally aspirated produced 286 hp so the 306 after adding a turbo is very conservative. Clearly they added the turbo just to lower consumption via more low-end torque.

With the Racechip GTS (not Black) the car is quite a bit more aggressive in the low and mid rpm. Gives the anti-slip a real run for its money with the winter tires.

I can get the chip reprogrammed for free for the Stinger. In fact I was planning to unplug it from the BMW. The buy-in quote is for five months into the future and the car has to stay in mint condition.

Welcome.
You have some fantastic roadways where you live: Alps (Switzerland and Austria), Italy, South of France, Germany, ....
Jealous already

The 335i is highly underrated. Back when I last researched, people were pretty confident that the car had about 330-340hp in reality...

Welcome from OZ & congrats on your purchase, it will be worth the wait.
