Drove 2 hr straight today, mild, no hard braking. Get home, park, no problems. Two trips needed to unload the car. Better parking spot opened up after first unloading. 5 min have passed since driving. Start moving car to new space, maybe 2 km/h, brakes are very grabby. I thought I hit something at first when i touched the brake pedal. I had a hard time reverse parking in because the brakes kept jolting the car to a stop.

Anyone have any thoughts? I will try to drive a little later to see if the problem persists. 1,000 km on the car as of today.

Edit: After an hour or two of the car sitting, I just pulled the car forward and then backed in again. Brakes seem 100% normal.

So, backing up to park, and you've got your foot hovering on the brake pedal, and without rhyme or reason the car simply jolted to a stop? That doesn't sound like a description of the usual brake pad issue; more like a miscommunication between the brakes and ECU. A "reflash" could sort it out, if it continues to be a problem. I dislike how utterly dependent cars are on computer interfaces. Leary, describes my general attitude. But so far, my Stinger has given me almost no indications that anything less than smooth communication is going on. *knock knock*

The brake sensitivity was moving forward or backward and only when I pressed the pedal. Normally I press the pedal and there is a little travel and smooth application of the brake. When I had the issue yesterday, putting the smallest pressure on the pedal locked it up (with the jolting stop).

That's what I meant: foot lightly touching/hovering on pedal, and the first bit of pressure, bang, full stop.

Yes, exactly. Hopefully it isn't a reoccuring thing. I agree it seems electronic.

The only thing that popped into my head is that I turned the car on and put it into drive almost immediately (trying to be quick to move the car and not lose the spot). Normally I wait for 10-20 seconds for the seat to stop moving and all the screens to finish doing the things they do. Maybe that made something temporarily unhappy.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I agree: this car does not like to be rushed through its coming "online" routine. I always take my time. The Stinger has made me drive as if I were going through a checklist in an airplane. :D I'm very deliberate and unrushed about the startup. Hopefully your theory is right.
