Probably a straight forward answer, but wanted to get some feedback before replacing my shark fin antenna/paying someone to do a complete disassembly on my headliner (I can do the former myself pretty cheaply as I can get to the antenna without full headliner removal and the replacement antenna is $125).

I have a 2018 GT2 that was clobbered with hail earlier this year. After paintless dent removal my antenna no longer works correctly (I get very limited AM/FM reception, XM states disconnected and my GPS is off by about 100 miles). I was able to ensure that the antenna is connected, getting power and the ground is secure. I'm assuming that they mishandled the antenna when taking it off and broke it (and I signed a disclaimer stating they were not responsible for any damage caused by disassembly to repair hail damage). But I have noticed that my phone that syncs via AAwireless or that I plug in to the car sometimes gets the same incorrect GPS readings that my car is showing, though it usually resets shortly after disconnecting from my car, so it has me wondering if something else might be throwing it off (i.e., bluetooth location services, Android issue, etc.).

Got to be a broken antenna, right?

Strange symptoms. I believe that the AM/FM antenna is in the rear glass, not the shark fin. The shark fin is just the SXM and GPS.
I don't see how a broken GPS antenna on the car would affect your phone, it has its own GPS antenna. Even so, you either get a GPS signal or you don't. Could be that it can only receive a couple GPS satellites, you usually need at least 6 or more to get a good fix and up to 12 at a time for the most precise fix and altitude.
