I have a 2021 gt2. Is there any benefit in asking to upgrade my firmware for my infotainment?

Everyone has their different feelings or opinions on it. While I'm not exactly happy they got rid of the "nixie" tube design for the over the air radio stations, I rarely ever use them anyways as I'm always in android auto. And I'm pretty happy with the dual screen android auto (2/3 of the screen one app...waze for me, 1/3 of the screen another app....music). Other than that, I haven't noticed any difference with the previous update. No clue what version you're on and what changes have occurred since your last update.

I feel like if I asked the dealership what benefits would I see about upgrading I’m sure they won’t have a clue haha

And the sad thing is, that's a very accurate statement. It's for these exact reasons I wish stuff like this they kept a change log of all changes ever since creation. Problem with doing that is the many different models of infotainment.

What software version are you running currently?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I don’t have a clue. I purchased the car in May 2021 as a 2021 model
You are probably running 3 or 4 versions old software. There have been 2 version updates per year for a few years now, and most new cars come with at least 1 version downlevel based on manufacturing date (not purchase date)

You can check easily enough from the cars infotainment screen.

If you are happy with it as is - you can just leave it.

Time to update again.
