Has anyone been able to get GAP insurance on a Stinger? If so who did you get it through?
I got it through KIA. But USAA offered it when I got the car overall insured.Has anyone been able to get GAP insurance on a Stinger? If so who did you get it through?
I got it through KIA.
Time of purchase.Did you get it at time of purchase or were you able to add it later?
It's included in my lease through KMF.
It was only another $30 a year to add it to my Progressive policy.
so they dont offer it after the purchase? Cause they do when you do the original loan through them.I called Kia Motor Finance and Liberty Mutual and they both said they don’t offer GAP insurance at all.
Any help on this would be very much appreciated.
From my experience, I was offered GAP insurance when I bought out my old 2015 Kia Optima lease through a state credit union. If your financial institution where you got the Stinger loan from does not offer GAP insurance, I'd just do a quick Google search and see who offers it.Yes leases have to have it. I am talking about a loan.
Got it through KMF but USAA offers it Geico offers it and Progressive that I know of.
Geico told me that didn’t offer it.
you know, its weird, if you google KIA motors and gap insurance it says they offer it.Geico told me that didn’t offer it. Was your KMF insurance actually through the dealer? My dealer says they don’t offer it. KMF said they don’t offer it.

And like I said I got it when I financed my car with them. Why they say now they dont offer it I dont know.
GAP Insurance at Hatfield Kia | Benefits & Features | Columbus OHCould you provide the link to where Kia says they offer it? I am not seeing that.
Thank you so much for that link. That is exactly what I needed.
how long have you had the car and do you qualify for USAA?Unfortunately, Gap insurance has to be done at the time of purchase from a dealer or at least that is what that dealer told me.
If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. I just want to get GAP insurance from someone. If there is someone in the insurance business that can help it would be wonderful.
