Gap Insurance on a Lease

Was anyone else told by the dealer that the lease came with Gap insurance and was not a separate required purchase? I was having a convo with my insurance while with the Finance Mgr and the FM said that Kia has gap insurance on their leases to protect their investment. Also, insurance said they do not provide gap on a lease!

Correct. KMA provides GAP insurance. No need to pay for it elsewhere.

I bought out my lease and the Credit Union wanted to sell me Gap insurance. Checked with my insurance carrier, Allstate, and I'm covered with them. Also, a lot cheaper with Allstate.
