was looking to buy a new 2019 stinger gt
And am deciding between the base and the limited (mainly due to the red leather)

Does anyone regret getting one over the. Other ?
I haven’t been in the basic GT yet due to the fact every time I go to the dealer they only have a limited there.
The price is right for the base but will I regret it ???? Any help would be cool, thanks

Don’t know if it’s the same in Canada, but my base GT has the red leather interior
No the only option on the base GT is the black.
You have to upgrade to the limited to get the premium Napa leather in black or red.
The other things are the sound system, heads up display, navigation, 360 view and rear heated and vented seats. There’s probably 1 or 2 other things I’m missing

That might be the case in Canada but US base GT's can have the red leather. Napa leather, HUD and 360 camera here are limited to our GT2(same as Canadian GT Limited) but our GT and GT1 trims have the option of red leather with some colors.. That's a bit surprising if you can't get red leather with a lower trim.

The hype put out by Kia is that the "Stinger" is a great car, and then it gets better. If you are satisfied with great, then get one. If you really want more, then fork over the extra cash to get more.

I think that the base 2.0L is a great car as-is. Certainly looks are equal to any other trim. Quality and practicality are equal. Performance is better than comparable HP and torque on other brands, especially at the price point.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I have the Canadian GT, not limited. The limited is definitely a great deal for $5K more (adaptive cruise and auto emergency braking are two others you didn't list). I probably would have got a GT limited (also mainly due to red seats) but I got an amazing deal on my GT so the difference to go to a limited was much more than $5k (42K all in with winter wheels and tires). You'll be happy with either honestly, I love my car. If the price difference is something you can handle, the Limited might be better to get everything you want.

OP is Canadian.... they dont market 3.3T models as gt, gt1, gt2, etc. in ROW. OP is comparing something that is US GT-like to GT2 like.

Ah, missed that distinction. Well, what I said applies even more then, since the 3.3L is in the mix. :)

ya im getting a decent deal 42,900 no freight pdi or any other charges except HST which seems great, ill try my best to get the winters in too lol. are you from the GTA if so which dealer did you choose?

I am in Alberta. I got mine in February and it was a new 2018 which is part of the reason I got such a great deal. Your deal definitely sounds decent....but always try and squeeze more lol

I have a (2019) Canadian base model, the GT-Line and I would recommend it purely because it'll make your life easier when shopping for winter tyres. It's also a great option if you just want a daily driver with some muscle. If you have the money and don't care about tyres or you want a bit more muscle, get the GT. If you have even more money or you want all the bells and whistles, or you're gonna be taking it to the track, get the Limited.

The good thing is that the Canadian 2.0 is pretty well speccd, the things you'll be missing are the larger engine, most (if not all) of the safety features and interior colour options. And some things like the sun roof, heated rear seats, cooled front seats, automatic boot opening etc.

I’m buying purely for the 3.3tt, I’m into performance and plan to do a few mods to it.
I already started looking for a winter tire and rim set up, Durham Kia (about an hour from me) has a special for $890 rim and tire setup and they store your summers for free for the first season.

So, Michael!! I bought a GT limited - black with red interior for 44.6k in end of July. Got it from Peterborough, Joe Fischetti is the manager, and I believe you can get a better deal now as the 2020 models and rolling in. Give it a try. Also Orangeville Kia had great deals too. Check it out. Thank you
