Have you guys ever done abnormally weird things when you got your new Stinger? Or any new car in general?

I have found myself doing these things in the last week:

- Spending time inside the car but not actually going anywhere

- Spending 30 minutes tring to find that perfect driving position, but not actually driving

- Spent an hour setting up radio presets to make sure its perfect

- Revving the car for no reason so I can hear that bi modal exhaust that I paid extra for, but my neighbours probably think i'm the biggest wanker

- Looking back at my car every 10 seconds after I parked it making sure it's ok

- Wiping every water and dirt spots that I can see

- Wiping off bird poo carefully like I am treating an open wound

- Making sure to not order food from drive thru that will stink up the whole car

- Gave my friend who is a tradie the biggest death stare when he got in my car with his muddy shoes

- Spotting a stone chip that is half a nano meter but to me, it looks like a meteor crater

- Looking at the engine bay for half hour trying to figure out where everything is even though I know nothing about the engine

- Going on my knees and looking underneath the car as if something is wrong but the car has not moved out of my driveway since yesterday

- Not driving when it's raining because my car is fresh from the dealer clean

- Started screaming when I WAS driving and it starts raining

- Staring at the keyfob when I am working, hoping 5pm comes soon when I will run to my car and go for a drive

- Looking at my car for an hour straight, admiring it's lines and curves. But then run back into the house when I see my neighbour catches me so I dont look like a weirdo

Have any of you guys done anything similar?

All of the above, enjoy your new whip:)

Guilty... when I picked mine up in December it was snowing/raining so it started early for me

Perfectly normal.

All sounds very normal here. No need for concern.

The thing that irritates me is farm irrigation that sprays on the road after I have just spent hours cleaning my car. I actually turn around and take another route if I can. Your list describes me exactly!
This happened to me last week when we went to lunch in the Ventura Harbor. What a piss off! When I got home I had to detail most of the car again. I am sure they use crap water for the crops, which would have to be even more impure than our usual hard water. Leave it on too long and it will probably eat into your clearcoat.

Don't forget golf courses, a major waster of watering the roads. Hah.:(

Here are some new additions:

- Ordered a sundae from drive thru then asked for a stack of serviettes cause there is leakage at the bottom of the lid that you normally would not care if you are driving an older car

- Parked a kilometre from your destination to find that perfect parking where the next car is 100m apart.... on all sides

- Shop for a hail protection cover even though you have a garage

- Request a quote to PPF.... the entire car

Liked to see how much that quote was.

I've had mine since Dec '17, and even now, every time I go out to my garage cabinets to get/put away something, I feel a little jolt to my system and have to stand and admire the Stinger for a while.

No food or drink of any discription in the Stinger everrrrrr. Shoes must be clicked together before they hit the mat. Doors closed by arms or elbows no hands. No parking lot parking nose to tail in street only.
