My wife posted our new Stinger GT on Instagram and here's a comment I got a kick out of...

I also had an A6 driver yelling out to me at a stop light, asking how I like it. Lots of heads turning!

What kind of reactions have you all gotten so far?

The taillights do kind of look a little like a Tesla at night. Otherwise, I hope you like the attention! :p

I've had some funny reactions (being 'chased down' by a 370z owner), some snarky ones ("nice....for a Kia"), and some ridiculous ones ("why didn't you look at the new camry?") but none top the reaction of a guy who had just leased an Optima because his salesman told him the Stinger wouldn't be out for several months; he was PISSED. Now that I've seen the yellow stinger I know how it feels to wish you had waited....

I’ve also had, is that a Tesla to WTF is that. Also drove up to Bathurst on Saturday to check out the 12 hour GT racing, had I guy in a Ferrari besides checking me out, then on the way home two guys wanted to play, 1 in a WRX & the other in an Audi T3, they chased me down the mountains, then I smoked the WRX on the freeway....the guy in Audi gave up, little bit of fun with people who don’t know what you have.....loving this car.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I loved SAAB when they were around but never owned one, my brother had one and it was great to drive but had some issues. The old 900 was kept even after it stopped being driven in hopes of getting it fixed. After years of taking up space in the driveway, it was eventually sold. It’s a pity what GM did to them, was hoping it would make a comeback but alas, it didn’t. The Stinger however, is a car that a lot of us former a German brand owners can get behind. Here’s hoping KIA will bring more such fun driving cars to market.

I had a '75 EMS 2.0L turbo. Weird but great engineering. But the car was a mechanic's dream. I replaced half the car over 160,000 miles, fortunately doing most of the work myself. Totaled it when a kid pulled in front of me. Lots of issues like fuel pump, water pump, timing chain tensioner, compressor, brake pads every oil change (almost), both clutch master and slave cylinders, exhaust - the list goes on.
