I'm not a fan of bare wire in the engine compartment, or of piercing connections into existing OEM wires. I decided to modify the JB4 fuel wires, from simple bare wires with stripped ends to use these weatherproof connectors along with braided sleeves ending in heat resistant harness tape. The bare, exposed fuel wires were covered with braided covering that matched the other wires on the JB4. The single wire weatherproof connectors I bought on ebay.

The braided connectors were then transitioned into the harness tape with heat seal tubing.

I also purchased fuel wire connection harness splitters, but cut off the supplied blade connectors and modified them as well to make a matching weatherproof connection.

I removed the supplied split plastic shield, and wound the wiring with the heat resistant harness tape. I secured the wound ends with miniature tire straps.

Clean, tidy and electrically sound - works very nicely. :)

That's how they should come

Not necessarily...special connectors require specialized tools.
I doubt that the Stinger fans in general have the tool (crimper) that is required for @SteveCo 's connectors.
Under the circumstances, what @ecko04 delivers is appropriate, but that should not stop anybody to get creative.

I'll intend to do excactly as SteveCo did, once I get my JB4; I already have the connectors and tool.:D

Yes, they would if crimping bare connectors.

In this case I purchased already wired 1-pin pigtail connectors, which I soldered to the existing wires, sealed with heat shrink tubing, and finally covered with the heat resistant harness tape.

.. and as a general reply to those that have privately inquired, I did not use the fuel wire harnesses that ecko04 is making.

Though I applaud his work on behalf of the forum members, he did say he is building them on a 'not for profit' basis. So I purchased mine on Ebay due to the lower landed cost to Canada, and am quite happy with the product and performance - build quality is excellent.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I did the same thing and used the same connectors, but I have extra disconnect points, one at the JB4, and one at the plug and play cable, so I can disconnect the JB4 without long dangling fuel wires attached.

To remove the JB4 the major cables for the manifold connections already need to be disconnected and pulled back, so I don't have a problem with disconnecting the single point fuel wire connections on mine and retracting them as well. Just a matter of snipping a few added tie wraps that I use to keep everything in place - there's a few hundred more where those came from. :p

Either way, nice to have the everything tidied up, well protected, and readily detachable.

This is hilarious since integrating the push connector for the fuel wires is exactly what the October batch of harnesses I made have for increased flexibility. Very cool.
