Hello, does anyone else have an issue when getting into your Stinger that you keep hitting the fuel tank release button and the outside cover pops open ? thx harris

Never done that. And I have long legs.

Yeah, happens fairly often. I'm over 6ft and sometimes that knee just makes contact. I set the second seat memory with the seat really far back and change to it before exiting.

Do you have the auto retract feature enabeled for both seat and steering wheel?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
6'1" long legs and I've hit the release with my knee quite a few times

No this has never happened to me. But given enough time I’m sure we will see a correlation between this issue and those who have side wear on their bolsters.

I did for a while, but adjusted my entry to avoid it. Seat is really far back too which helps

Ive hit the button with my knee like 8 times getting out of the car. It took awhile to get use to not bumping into it. I feel like if your a shorter person like me this is a nuisance problem.

Funny, I hit the button getting IN the car not out. I'm 5'10 but it seems that taller guys are also having the problem ..going to try the" auto retract" feature if I can find it in the manual. ( I have a 2019 GT1 Ceramic Silver/Blk int.) thx harris

Never. I'm not a tall guy (my son says I'm height challenged). He is 5'10" and has never hit it either. Both of use tend to drive with more extended arms so neither of us is very close to the steering wheel or the release button.

I'm 6 foot and have the seat back just about all the way so the retract does nothing for my seat setting. The wife is 5'2 and has the seat all the way forward. Takes a while for that seat to go all the way back for her..lol

Yeah. On the rare occasion that my wife drives the Stinger, she doesn't take it back to Driver 1 (me). And the next time I get in, *scrunch* I go almost chest into the steering wheel. Still haven't hit the gas lid button with my knee though, even then. :D

6'1" here. My seat is set with the medium retracted setting when entering. My knee is a good 6 inches from the fuel release button when I get in ... or out. Glad no Giraffe legs here.
