Anyone know roughly how much fuel is left in the tank when the gas light comes on? Just curious out of the 60 liter tank how much you have left before you're stuck.

Kia is notorious for premature fuel level warnings. I've had the remaining fuel meter all the way down to "---" miles and still couldn't squeeze 15 gallons in it.

I'd guess when the light comes on there's still 2 gallons in the tank.

I would guess there is around 5 gallons, enough to give the driver an opportunity to make it to the closest gas station.

I know on the Optima hybrid that was rated for 17 gallons, folks have been able to get 22 gallons in it. I've never driven it down to get that but I have gotten 21+ on an attempt. Current car is rated for 15 gallons and I've gotten 20 gallons in, takes a while but it takes it. Got over 900 miles out of that tank. Can't say if that is true for the non-hybrids though.
