Okay so I just installed my Fuel It kit last week. This question goes out to those of you how broke the damn fuel line clip. I followed the directions to the T and I still broke that cheap POS.
Kia definitely did a great job on this platform, with the exception of not holding back on going cheap on the fuel system. It just seems like the fuel system in this platform is the biggest headache for everyone trying to tune.
Anyway my question is this... Would anybody be interested in a 3d printed aftermarket clip? I think I can actually accomplish a prototype for this very quick. Its just a cheap plastic retainer that holds the fuel line clip back when inserting it, or removing it from the HPFP. Tried looking at Kia OEM parts and you can't specifically buy it unless you purchase the whole fuel line. I've spoken to another Stinger driver that seems to have also broken it when using the proper tool stated in the instructions. The problem with it is its cheap plastic that breaks when holding back the metal clip inside. This can easily be fixed by making a 3d printed part.
