Fuel-IT Kit install with JB4

Great update, Thanks! I sure hope you get it sorted out. I've crashed my HPFP several times with just E30 and an aggressive tune, so I'm skittish about putting it in even though I need it for my tunes. E is readily available around here but it's flex so you never know exactly how much your getting unless you painstakingly test it in a tube every fill up. Uhg, decisions...

If you plan on running E more than anecdotally, I would say get it. Also look into getting the Spool HPFP. It's pricey AF but should address the crashes.

Do you plan on running both E and WMI? If so, how much meth? Do you have the EWG wires? You may want to get those, too, in case you start overboosting like I am with all the extra boost you'll be making (and the exhaust upgrade).

Great questions. I do run EWG and Meth. I have several aggressive Map6/7 tunes for WMI and Race gas just for the track. My struggle is daily driving. I can run a less aggressive Map7 daily but Map2 or Map3 makes more sense to put around. That's where the dilemma exists, E85. Do I deal with the HPFP and sensor, or just run Map7? The FX-150 is $1300 and the sensor runs $350, I'm not sure if the juice is worth the squeeze. Thoughts?

I personally think the better value/"bang for the buck" is in a better WMI setup. It's cheaper, only used when turned on and when the system detects you want that extra push, and is off when you are doing your groceries for the Misses. It is a truly on demand system. Upgrading your nozzle to a higher flow one is far cheaper than a HPFP. I'd say upgrade your WMI setup first, and if you still are craving more (and you have the cash for it) then upgrade your primaries, THEN get the upgraded pump. That pump is going to be required if you want to go a big turbo kit if that is a route you plan on doing.

If the JB4 had logic such that it would pull readings from the Fuel It sensor and automagically adjust map settings without manual intervention, that would be bad ass. But that is a LOT of development cost/time for a very small segment of the market. If you plan on running ethanol frequently, I would say get it.

It does. Why didn't you enable it? :)
