Has anyone noticed (if you didn't before, you will now) that when the front passenger seat is not being used, the metal buckle hits against the B pillar when going over speed bumps, or exiting driveways? I guess i need to add some type of material, or keep the belt fastened. Now that I noticed it, I cannot un-notice it. Any suggestions, besides cutting out the offending seatbelt ;)

Fit one of these, solved the issue you described for me.

Move the passenger seat a little forward to tighten up the slack. mine does it too, and so did my g80 before this.

That looks pretty good, could add a nice touch. I cannot believe the number of different felt interior items for this car.

I thought the belt was attached to the frame, not the seat. But worth the look. Thanks
Hadn’t noticed that before you wrote it. Not sure why moving the seat forward stops it. Maybe it has more room to oscillate and then don’t hit the b pillar so often.

I’ve seen this one before, not sure about sharkracing.com though.
shark racing is not import shark. ive ordered a ton from them. the adhesive isnt super aggressive but you can touch any hard to stick spots with e6000 and its removable later

So, the silicone seatbelt covers are not all that good. Yes it does keep the buckle from making noise, but the silicone also causes the buckle assembly to hang up on the belt, so you have to feed the belt through when you retract it.

I ordered the B pillar felt protection panels from Shark Racing. Ordered on Sunday, Got them today. Lightning fast shipping. They fit great, and it really seems to help the buckle noise.

Moin moin (I know it is evening) ok, I will have to play around with it then. I may just remove it. Danke for the photo.

Yeah, when I installed it like the photo you posted, it works much better. Thanks again

On mine the buckle is actually hitting the plastic of the seat, not the pillar.
I temporarily put an old (washed) sock around it.
I am looking for a better solution...
