Hi Folks!
I’m new here and looking forward to learning from the wealth of knowledge this active board has to offer.

I test drove yesterday and now intend to purchase the following:
2022 GT2 RWD
Snow White Pearl or Ceramic Silver
Nappa Red

I’m willing to wait until I find a car that matches those specs. I am in a major market (Houston). I’ve contacted all local dealers and it doesn’t sound like anyone has one that meets this criteria.

I am curious:
1. Generally speaking, how frequently does new inventory reach the lot?
2. How restrictive are those criteria listed above?

Thanks for this community and the opportunity to engage about this awesome car!

Thank you,
Greg

Hi, Greg. You probably won't have to wait long, since red interior and white and Ceramic Silver are possibly the two most plentiful color combos, and the '22s are going to be arriving throughout the year. The local dealer that I bought my Stinger from gets inventory in all the time: I've counted as many as 16 Stingers on the lot at once (not Houston, of course, but any large Kia dealership is going to be getting cars in often).

That info only a dealer insider can give you, why don't you shop in other states, I bought my Porsche in Nevada and drove 18 hours home after cuz I got a sweet deal. My current Stinger i got it like 8 hours away cuz a good deal as well, if you wanna get discount you should not limit just near where you live, be prepared to travel a lot to find your dream car, its worth it trust me the stinger has been one of my all time favorite cars.

Agree with the above, expect to wait or travel. There's also cargo ship slow downs impacting stock (for a lot of industries).

Thanks all for the replies. A local dealer got a scorpion that I saw today and it is awesome. I can’t purchase until after I close on my home later this month… I’m sure it’ll be long sold by then.

question: is there a site you recommend that allows for specific trim levels? I’ve tried auto trader and edmunds and haven’t had great success.

I was able to track down my Stinger about 90 minutes from my house using this tool:

Just put your zip in there and you can see what local deals have which models in stock. You can filter by trim level and even see the window sticker.
