Saved my ass today.

I have never in my life had a car with this technology. I’ve also never been in a collision (knock on wood).

Lo and behold I’m on my commute this morning on typical back road, d*cking around with satellite radio and didn’t notice the car in front of me stopping to turn left.

I would have plowed him very hard had that system not kicked in, alerting me and priming the brakes. I must have been within 5 inches.

Good work Kia. Bad work me.

Lucky that you didn’t have anyone behind you. My FCW went off in a similar situation on the hwy, sadly guy behind me didn’t react as quickly. Rear ended me, but all fixed up since then.
