For $45,000 here are some "other" cars to consider ......but

Good article. Reinforces what I already knew; I chose wisely and bought what's right for me.

The mustang is a hard pass due to its front end, plus I've never liked V8s. I don't even want to be a passenger in the type R, let alone drive one. I don't mind the WRX but I'd never drive one. And I love the Germans but I don't want sloppy seconds when I can have a virgin vehicle for the same money.

Sloppy Seconds !!!.............eewwwwww , haven't heard that one one a long time :sick::sick::sick::sick::sick::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

That idea of a used BMW M or Audi S cars comes up a lot from folks because in their mind it makes sense to buy one of those used forgetting that not everyone who had it prior took care of it. Never mind the fact that the maintenance cost would be high compared to a new car with a 10 year warranty. They still think KIA is the same company from 20 years ago. This is usually from the folks that are badge snobs, closed minded or have yet to own one of the luxury brands, the ones who have had that experience know better.

I think most M's get a good whoopin , I know mine did !
