Unless you're wedded to the idea of AWD, I can't think of any pressing reason to spend the extra cash. RWD should suit where you live perfectly.

Im RWD in FL, and its very enjoyable and easy to control day to day. The traction control is super conservative but lets you kick the back out if you really wanna.

Yeah get the RWD for sure! I picked up my Stinger in Florida and go to Florida half of the year. I drove last winter with RWD and summer tires up here in New York and was perfectly fine since I'm a very cautious driver. The only reason I would say AWD is better than the RWD for the Stinger, as I learned from other forum members, is if you're going to be doing heavy mods for crazy horsepower. Good luck!
